In September 2024, two-year-old Joe Massa's tragic death highlighted a critical gap in emergency department triage. A gap that exists not because of inadequate healthcare workers, but because of inadequate systems. Joe's case was the catalyst that transformed an idea into a mission. Our founder, had witnessed firsthand how system limitations, not clinical skill, can lead to devastating outcomes. Joe's story reinforced what we already knew: Australian emergency departments deserve better tools to support the incredible work their teams do every day. That's why we founded Diagnosis.
Diagnosis is an Australian biomedical engineering company built on a foundation of clinical insight and technical excellence.
